Following on from the previous item, this is also an early-model MA-1 from the 1950s. It’s an incredibly charming piece that perfectly captures the unique atmosphere of that era. Plus, it’s a size L—a great fit!

Another key feature of this piece that you won’t want to miss is the early specification with an orange lining. It stands out for its ruggedness and simplicity—characteristic of the dawn of the military era—which sets it apart from later models. This is an important detail when discussing the history of the MA-1.The color is a subdued sage green. The subtle fading, combined with the dull sheen characteristic of nylon, creates a finish with a truly wonderful atmosphere. This piece exudes the “beauty of wear” typical of vintage items. The front zipper retains the original period parts. The leather pull tab is also intact, making this a well-preserved piece in terms of details. The survival of these parts is one of its key selling points.
