US Military Cotton Poplin Trousers contracted in 1963.
These combat pants were adopted in the early days of the Vietnam War and were designed to operate in tropical regions. These trousers have the suppleness and toughness of a lightweight, densely woven cotton poplin material.

The greatest feature of this item is that it has been post-dyed (re-dyed) to a dark green color. Since it was released from a film company as a costume, it is assumed that it was re-dyed at home or in the costume department during the process of being used as a filming costume.
