US Military, Cotton Wind Resistant Poplin (OG-107) Trousers, contracted in 1964. These combat pants were adopted in the early days of the Vietnam War and were designed for actual combat use in tropical regions. The lightweight, densely woven cotton poplin fabric is both breathable and wind resistant, and is designed to function in harsh environments with a single-minded focus on practicality.
