964 Contract, U.S. Army OG-107 Utility Trousers Type I.
Commonly known as “Baker Pants” in the vintage market, these are the quintessential U.S. Army utility trousers. This item is a Type I / Class 1, representing the early specification of the line. A white contract label, characteristic of early production runs, remains on the inside.

The OG-107 utility uniform was adopted by the U.S. military in the 1950s and was widely used as work and everyday duty wear from the post-Korean War era through the Vietnam War.The name “OG-107” derives from the olive green color code of the fabric; its major appeal lies in the durability characteristic of cotton satin and the beautiful fading that develops with repeated wear and washing. It is an indispensable piece in the history of U.S. military uniforms that later had a significant influence on fatigues and workwear.Although it was used as combat fatigues in the early stages of the Vietnam War, its use on the front lines gradually declined with the introduction of jungle fatigues.
