This is the 4th model (DSA 100-68-C), the final form of the U.S. ARMY Jungle Fatigue Pants, famous as the symbolic combat uniform of the Vietnam War period. This item was contracted for the fiscal year 1968 and manufactured by Brownwood MFG. The fabric is the final specification made of ripstop cotton. The size is SMALL-REGULAR popular size.
The 4th model is an improved version updated from the conventional cotton poplin to a more lightweight and durable ripstop fabric, and the front is changed to a zipper fly (made by SCOVILL), featuring a highly finished design that formed the prototype for modern military wear. This is a real vintage item with beautiful fading throughout, and small holes and repair marks can be seen here and there. These pants are not "dead stock" or "beautiful," but on the contrary, the worn-in texture is the charm of these pants, and gives depth and persuasiveness to the styling. In particular, the 4th model in ripstop specification is popular among both collectors and enthusiasts, regardless of the condition, and there is no doubt that it will become even more difficult to obtain in the future. The perfect form of the U.S. military pants that you can understand when you put them on. Please take a look at the final evolution of these pants. Because it is a used item, returns are not possible. Please understand.
