This item was actually entrusted to us by a soldier who was actually deployed to Vietnam around 1970.
It is an extremely reliable piece, said to have been issued and acquired at the An Khe U.S. military base in 1969, which was then in South Vietnamese territory. It belonged to the 75th Ranger, and its mission was LRRP (Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol ).
The LRRP was a unit responsible for extremely dangerous and advanced missions, such as infiltrating deep into enemy territory and conducting long-range reconnaissance, and only selected soldiers were allowed to belong to it. For this reason, the LRRP was not only equipped with ready-made uniforms, but also used locally procured tiger stripes.

This set is a rare upper and lower set that includes both shirts and pants.
In addition, the 75th Ranger patch on the right sleeve remains as it was sewn on at the time, maintaining the real original condition.

The most notable feature of this item is its condition.
Although it was worn by actual combat troops, it shows very little signs of use, and is in excellent condition as if it had been stored in a near-unused state. We are told that the pants were buttoned up for repair. The pants size was not correct and could not be worn. Tiger stripes in such good condition, plus a set-up with a clear story, are rarely seen on the market.
