This is the 4th Model of the 1970 contract lot, the final model, and is an extremely valuable dead stock item.
This 4th Model was the final specification issued from the end of the 1960s to the end of the Vietnam War. It is made of OG107 cotton ripstop fabric, which is lightweight, breathable, and quick-drying, and is more tear-resistant than conventional twill fabric, making it durable enough for tough use on the battlefield. The gas flap has been eliminated for a clean, uncluttered neck. Four three-dimensional pockets on the front and adjustable cuffs are designed with condensed functionality based on actual warfare. This unit is identified from the tag as a 1970 account (DSA100-70-C-0249). Additionally, the condition of the tag, sewing, and fabric indicate that it is unused and completely dead stock. It has "U.S. ARMY" branch tape sewn on the left chest and is a late nylon subdued item.
This is an extremely rare X-Small-Regular size, perfect for those with a petite build, those who want a perfect fit, or for ladies who want to wear it. The condition, size, and specifications are all near perfect, making this a highly recommended item for both collectible and practical vintage use.
