ERDL (Engineer Research and Development Laboratory) camouflage is known as the signature pattern of the Vietnam War. ERDL camouflage was developed by a U.S. Army research institute in the mid-1960s and was created to provide high concealment in jungle environments. It is based on a camouflage pattern originally developed by the ERDL laboratory around 1948, which is why it is called ERDL.It was subsequently used primarily by special forces, airborne units, and the Marine Corps, and is a historic camouflage pattern that served as the prototype for the later Woodland camouflage. The beautiful color palette—a blend of vivid green, brown, and black—continues to captivate many collectors and vintage enthusiasts even now, more than half a century later.

This is a used item. It is in deadstock condition with no signs of wear. The fabric retains its stiffness, and the colors are very vivid. While there are slight storage marks from long-term storage, it is in excellent condition, perfect for both practical use and collecting.
