The
Jungle Fatigue Jacket/ERDL camouflage, early non-rip model, a popular tropical clothing adopted by the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, is now in stock. It is the largest size X-Large-Regular. The condition is Used but very rare.
The "ERDL camouflage" used for this jacket was introduced by the U.S. Army Natick ERDL (Engineer Research and Development Laboratory) around 1966-67. The green-toned "Green Leaf Pattern," which later became the prototype for the M81 Woodland camouflage, was initially used on a limited basis by the Marine Corps, Air Force, and Special Forces.
In addition, this item is an earlier model that uses a lightweight poplin (100% cotton) fabric, commonly known as non-rip fabric, instead of ripstop. It has excellent breathability and is optimized for the wet jungle environment. This pattern is one of the rarest and most popular with a clear outline print.
In Used condition with some stains and other signs of repair on the back. The size tag and contract tag are both still in place but have faded. The jacket is also faded.
