The M-51 Field Parka is the gold standard of cold-weather equipment for the U.S. military. This parka was born in 1951 in anticipation of extreme cold-weather combat during the Korean War, and has since been succeeded by the M-65 parka, a masterpiece that can be called the starting point of the mod coat. The size stamp is almost gone, but "Medium" handwriting can be seen on the liner, probably a combination of X-Large size for the main body and Medium size for the liner. There is no significant discomfort in the actual wearability, and it is a sufficiently practical piece of clothing. The buttons are not perfectly aligned in some places, but this makes it possible to wear it without discomfort.

The zipper has been replaced with a brass zipper in later years, but it looks good and can be accepted as a taste.
