The M-51 Field Parka (a.k.a. Fishtail Parka ), a masterpiece officially adopted by the U.S. Army in the early 1950s, is now in stock in full set condition with a rare wool pile liner and a hood with real coyote fur for outstanding presence!
The M-51, as the name implies, was first made official in 1951 and was a cold-weather outerwear that protected soldiers from the cold during the Korean War in extremely cold regions. Its characteristic "fishtail" design on the back of the body is still highly popular today as a standard detail that has been inherited by the M-65.
The body, liner, and hood of this item are all complete, and the liner in particular is a wool pile type (sheep boa style), which was extremely rare at the time. The hood is trimmed with real coyote fur that has an outstanding presence. The fur retains its rich volume and natural texture, providing both warmth and visual impact.
It is in surprisingly good condition, with some dirt and signs of use, but in very good condition. Condition. The front, hem, and cuffs are free of any sagging or fraying, and the nylon shell's characteristic sheen is maintained. There are no noticeable stains or tears on the liner either, making this a perfect piece for your collection.
The M-51 continues to increase in scarcity value every year, and a full set in such good condition will no doubt become even more difficult to find in the future. Please take this opportunity to experience the pinnacle of military wear. This is a used item and cannot be returned. Please understand.
