Silver Tiger Stripe is one of the most iconic camouflage patterns of the Vietnam War era. These rare pants were privately procured and tailored using the U.S. Army’s 2nd Model fatigue pants cut.
This pair is estimated to have been tailored around 1966. Its most distinctive feature is the extremely rare cut, based on the 2nd Model Jungle Fatigue Pants. While Asian Cut and US Cut are common for Tiger Stripe pants, this item features details that are clearly different from those styles.
The cargo pockets are larger than those on standard tiger-stripe pants, offering greater storage capacity, and the back pockets feature slash-style inner pockets rather than patch pockets. This highly practical design incorporates the design philosophy of jungle fatigue pants, resulting in an intriguing specification that is rarely seen on the market.
Above all, what catches the eye is the fading. The black sections have beautifully transformed into shades of gray, giving the entire piece a unique, silvery appearance.
