The U.S. Navy "G-1 Flight Jacket" is one of the most iconic pieces of military wear. This item is an actual model estimated to have been issued in the late 1970s, and has a massive presence. Moreover, it is a piece with multiple patches sewn on it that tell the history of the time.

On the left chest, a large custom patch of "COAST GUARD AIR DETACHMENT" is equipped. This indicates the unit was based in Naples, Italy, and served in a wide range of areas, including Greece, Libya, Spain, France, Turkey, Denmark, Iceland, England, and Belgium. The wing mark with an eagle in the center symbolizes the pride of the USCG (U.S. Coast Guard) aviation units that operated across the seas.

An American flag patch on the right shoulder and a leather patch for a name tag remain on the chest, making this a truly military spirit garment. The design and placement of the patches also give a sense of the realistic background of the item as an actual used item.
